Poetry | Symptoms of Dissentery| September 27th, 2018, 7.30-11 pm| 6 Assagao

“Symptoms of Dissentery” explores the paranoia of a poet in the current world she inhabits – that which is (almost) NIL of any ‘freedom of speech’; the eventual gagging she feels in her heart’s throat and her newfound love for the disease that has caught her mid-rhyme.

Priyal is a Goa-based poet & artist who identifies herself as a multiverse gypsy clown. She explores and interprets Anthropological Storytelling through writing, visual arts & handicrafts. She has performed poetry in Vietnam, Cambodia, Egypt, Nepal, Uganda & India. Her poetry is a provocative vomit of existential truths; exploring the nature of identity, gender, violence, sexuality, dissent, love, feminism & freedom.

Donation based event. North Eastern Food will be available.
