TATVA Center and Thus. warmly invite to you to Sadhana Dell ‘Arte in Merces for a day and night of storytelling and listening on 8 June 2019 from 3-9pm. We will begin with a storytelling workshop from 3-6pm to explore themes of gender, sex and sexuality. The workshop will be followed by an open mic storytelling event from 7-9pm.
The workshop will be facilitated by Debayani Kar, a writer, performer and storytelling strategist from New York, now living in south India and currently a TATVA Therapeutic Residency artist. TATVA experiential psychotherapists and emotional welfare advocates Kripi Malviya and David Stanton will co-facilitate the workshop and open mic event to hold a safe and brave space for the diverse stories and experiences participants will share.
We invite anyone who identifies as woman, queer, trans* and/or non-binary along with our allies to join for both the workshop and open mic event. NGOs and community partners may be interested to join us and learn new tools for authentic and personal storytelling that empowers movements and communities.
