We are thrilled to invite you all to a book reading by the noted Tibetan poet, Tenzin Tsundue, at The Dogears Bookshop, Margao, this Saturday, 24th Sept 2023 at 6pm. Tenzin will read from the first and the only anthology of Tibetan writing in English, UNDER THE BLUE SKIES, which was launched just a month ago, and later talk about Tibetan writing in English, and issues in translation and publication.
Born to a Tibetan refugee family, Tenzin Tsundue is a writer-activist, a rare blend in the Tibetan community in exile. His writings have been published in Indian newspapers and magazines and also in the international media. He is also anthologized in Asian and International literary journals. As a poet, Tenzin has represented Tibet in Sahitya Akademi’s Second South Asian Literary Conference in New Delhi in January 2005, during Poetry Africa in Durban, 2005, and at the Jaipur Literature Festival 2010.
